Intertek has been granted the approval for product testing of Walmart U.S. Departments D9 (Sporting Goods) & D3 (School and Office Supplies)

Recently, Walmart U.S. released the Third-Party Laboratory Assignment List that updated approvals in D9 & D3 to include Intertek. Combined with other testing capabilities already ‌accredited by Walmart, this forms a One-Stop solution, providing solid quality management assurance for Walmart suppliers' products.

According to Walmart's category, Sporting Goods are divided into several subcategories, including All Items, Outdoor Furniture and Sleeping Bags and Accessories, Firearm Safety Devices, Sporting Helmets, Seasonal and Outdoor Play Toys, etc. Intertek, with its continuously upgraded excellent testing technology and professional services, has received these additional approvals. Intertek's testing capabilities joined with Walmart’s approval, allows for Intertek to more widely and comprehensively ensure the sporting goods suppliers' products meet high standards of quality and safety, and optimize testing time and costs within Walmart’s Supply Chain.
