天然气气源将作为当前的气体供应在新加坡使用. EMA暂未最终决定是否将城镇气管网系统转换为天然气输送管网系统. 但是, EMA不反对采用EN437和E类气种(最大压力26mbar)用于天然气在新加坡使用.
为了确保将来燃气灶具能够使用天然气, 需要出口新加坡市场的产品供应商可以现在开始向Intertek申请包括天然气, 城镇气和液化气的测试.
对现有已经过EN30-1-1测试的注册的燃气灶具, 基于天然气的如下测试需要被重新评估:
| 6.1.2 | Obtaining the input rates | This test is required if gas hob was previously tested to town gas and/or LPG |
| 6.1.3 | Flame supervision devices | This test is applicable if the gas hob is fitted with flame failure device and was tested to and registered based on EN 30-1-1: 1998. Compulsory if the gas hob was tested to and registered based on EN 30-1-1: 2008 |
| 6.1.5 | Heating |
These tests are required if the nominal heat input obtained for Natural Gas (NG) are the highest between : - NG and Town Gas ; - NG and LPG or - NG, LPG and Town Gas and exceeded 10% |
