On 18 November 2025, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) recommended four substances for the European Commission to be included in the Authorisation List (Annex XIV to the EU REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006).
The four substances recommended to be included in the Authorisation List are as follows:

Currently there are 59 entries of substances in the list of substances subject to authorization of the EU REACH Regulation. If a substance is included in the Authorisation List, it can only be placed on the market or used after a given date (sunset date) if an authorisation is granted for a specific use. Companies that are using, manufacturing or importing these substances shall apply for authorisation.
