The European Commission has decided to identify 1,7,7-trimethyl-3-(phenylmethylene)bicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-2-one (3-benzylidene camphor) (EC No 239-139-9, CAS No 15087-24-8) as a Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) due to its endocrine disrupting properties with probable serious effects to the environment. The listing of DCHP shall be effective when the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) ｕｐｄａｔｅs the SVHC candidate list for authorisation on its website.
