On 3 November 2017, the Mayor of San Francisco has signed the Ordinance amending the Environment Code to ban the sale in San Francisco of Upholstered Furniture and Juvenile Products made with or containing as added Flame Retardant Chemical (File number: 170867). This Ordinance shall become effective on 3 December 2017.
