European Commission has published Regulation (EU) 2016/2235 to amend REACH Annex XVII by adding entry 66 for Bisphenol A (BPA) on Dec 13, 2016. This restriction shall enter into force on 2 January 2017.
This regulation prohibits to place Thermal paper containing BPA exceed 0.02% on the market from 2 January 2020.
