On 19 October 2026, the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) published the SVHC Candidate List for authorisation as of October 2026, adding 9 substances to the list. The UK SVHC list now contains 233 entries of substances.
In the EU, the 9 substances were identified as SVHC by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) during the 2021-2026 period.
