China Proposed New Substances related to Food Contact Materials And Articles

The China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) has proposed 3 kinds of substances related to food contact materials and articles. Here are the highlights:

• Expansion of the scope of additive used in food contact material and article

• New additives used in food contact material and article

The above-mentioned restricted use requirements shall be marked in accordance with the provisions of GB4806.1.

• New resin substance used in food contact material and article

The above-mentioned restricted use requirements shall be marked in accordance with the provisions of GB 4806.1.
