THE RECALL CASES OF TEXTILE, FOOTWEAR AND ACCESSORIES PRODUCTS IN FEBRUARY 2026

IN FEBRUARY 2026, THERE WERE TOTAL 44 RECALL CASES OF TEXTILE, FOOTWEAR AND ACCESSORIES PRODUCTS FROM THE US, CANADIAN, EU AND AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. 25 OF THEM CAME FROM CHINA.

There are 14 physical recall cases from the EU market, including 5 cases on injuries, 2 cases on suffocation/choking, 2 cases on suffocation, choking & strangulation, the rest 5 cases are on strangulation, burns, choking & fire, choking, entrapment & injuries, burns & strangulation, and injuries & strangulation respectively.

There are 22 chemical recall cases from the EU market, including 18 cases that are against the REACH regulation, 3 cases that are against the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) and REACH regulation, and 1 case is against the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP) Regulation and REACH regulation. 

There are 4 physical cases from the US market, including 2 cases on burn injuries, and 2 cases on strangulation.

There is no chemical recall case from the US market.

There are 4 physical cases from the Canadian market, including 2 cases on strangulation hazard, 1 case on choking hazard, and 1 case on choking & strangulation hazard.

There is no chemical recall case from the Canadian market.

There is no physical and chemical recall case from the Australian market.
