THE RECALL CASES OF TEXTILE, FOOTWEAR AND ACCESSORIES PRODUCTS IN NOVEMBER 2025

IN NOVEMBER 2025, THERE WERE TOTAL 38 RECALL CASES OF TEXTILE, FOOTWEAR AND ACCESSORIES PRODUCTS FROM THE US, CANADIAN, EU AND AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. 25 OF THEM CAME FROM CHINA.

There are 17 physical recall cases from the EU market, including 3 cases on strangulation, 1 case on injuries, 4 cases on choking or suffocation, 1 case on burns, and 1 case on drowning, 6 cases on choking & cuts, and 1 case on choking & strangulation.

There are 10 chemical recall cases from the EU market, all the cases are against the REACH regulation. Among them there’re 7 cases that also do not comply with the General Product Safety Regulation and 1 case against the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP) Regulation 

There are 8 physical cases from the US market, including 3 cases on flammability, 1 case on entrapment or suffocation, and 4 cases on entrapment & fall hazards.

There is no chemical recall case from the US market.

There is 1 physical case from the Canadian market, which is on strangulation.

There is no chemical recall case from the Canadian market.

There are 2 physical cases from the Australian market, which are on burn injuries.

There is no chemical recall case from the Australian market.
