1. < Evaluation Measures on the Implementation of Prevention and Rectification Measures for Production Safety Accidents > (2021-03-03)
The Evaluation Measures on the Implementation of Prevention and Rectification Measures for Production Safety Accidents (hereinafter referred to as the Measures) was promulgated by the office of the State Council Safety Commission on 3^rd March 2021 and implemented as of the date of promulgation. The relevant contents of the Measures are as follows:

1. Within 10 months to 1 year after the accident is over, the local government in charge of the accident investigation and the relevant departments of the State Council shall organize and carry out the evaluation, and the specific work can be organized and implemented by the corresponding work safety committee or the office of the work safety committee.
2. Based on the investigation report of production safety accidents, the evaluation team shall focus on the following contents by comparing the prevention and rectification measures item by item
   （1）The specific measures taken by the accident unit, relevant enterprises and relevant government departments in the process of implementing the accident prevention and rectification measures, as well as the effectiveness of the work; the work situation of strengthen the concept of safety development, improve the responsibility system of safety production, draw lessons from accidents, draw inferences from one instance, and strengthen safe production;
   （2）The implementation situation of suggestions on administrative penalties for the units and persons responsible for the accident.
3. The evaluation working group shall timely feed back to the local government and relevant departments for the potential safety hazards and violations of laws and regulations found in the on-site inspection, and put forward suggestions for rectification and implementation.
4. The evaluation report shall be released to the public in a timely manner through the media or in the form of government information disclosure.

1. < Notice on Strengthening Relevant Work of Enterprise Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reporting Management > (2021-03-29)

The Notice on Strengthening Relevant Work of Enterprise Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reporting Management (hereinafter referred to as the Notice) has been gazetted by the General Office of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment on 29^th March 2021. The main contents are as follows:
1. Work Scope:

• Enterprises and other economic organizations (hereinafter referred to as key emission entities) in power generation, petrochemical, chemical, building materials, iron and steel, non-ferrous metal, paper making, aviation etc. with greenhouse gas emissions of 260,000 tons of CO₂ equivalent or above (approximate 10,000 tons standard coal consumption of comprehensive energy consumption) in any one year from 2013 to 2020.

2. Work Task:

• Greenhouse gas emissions data reporting. Provincial-level ecological and environmental authorities shall organize the key emission entities in power generation industry within their respective administrative region to complete the work of greenhouse gas data reporting.
• Organizing verification. Provincial-level ecological and environmental authorities shall organize and carry out verification of greenhouse gas emissions report of 2020 for key emission entities, complete the summary sheet of verified data, and report it to Department of Climate Change - Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
• Submitting the list of key emission entities in power generation industry and related materials. Provincial-level ecological and environmental authorities shall submit list of key emission entities in power generation industry of 2021 within their respective administrative region and publish it to society before 30^th June 2021.
• Quota verification and settlement of credits fulfillment. The quota verification work of 2019-2020 for key emission entities in power generation industry shall be completed before 30^th September 2021. The quota settlement and performance shall be completed before 31^st December 2021.
• Supervision and inspection. Provincial-level ecological and environmental authorities shall strengthen daily management of greenhouse gas emissions from key emission entities, focusing on spot-checking sampling of related measured data, daily log etc., timely publish the supervision check result at the official website of Provincial-level ecological and environmental authorities. For key emission units that fail to report on time, Provincial-level ecological and environmental authorities shall inform relevant units in writing and order them to report in time.
