The standardization administration of the People’s Republic of China recently released announcement No. 7 of 2016, which published ｕｐｄａｔｅs to a number of standards. The standards include two important product standards for apparel and home textiles: GB/T 32605-2016 “Wool, cashmere quilt” and GB/T 32614-2016 “Outdoor sportswear water resistant garment,” and some test method standards related to colorfastness, chemical testing and physical testing such as GB/T 6151-2016 “Textiles –Tests for colorfastness – General principle of testing,” GB/T 32598-2016 “Textiles –Tests for colorfastness – Instrumental assessment of adjacent fabric color staining,” GB/T 20388-2016 “Textiles –Determination of the content of phthalates – Tetrahydrofuran method” and GB/T 32599-2016 “Peeling strength test method of textile accessories.” Intertek has summarized the following key ｕｐｄａｔｅs to the standards below:
