Intertek EUDR Verification Services to Assist International Businesses

According to the Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 on Deforestation-free Products (EUDR), from 30 December 2025 (or 30 June 2026 for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)), EU operators (including producers, importers, and exporters) are required to submit a due diligence statement (DDS) via the EU Information System (IS). This statement needs to include complete supply chain traceability information, such as geolocation coordinates, HS code, product description, and quantity.

The regulation mandates that the raw materials of seven specific commodities (such as wood, rubber, etc.) and their relevant derived products (e.g., wooden furniture, paper products, tires) shall not originate from land subject to deforestation or forest degradation for agricultural use.

Intertek provides EUDR verification services to assist international businesses in verifying upstream compliance, identifying high risks, and expediting EU market access.

Intertek continuously monitors the evolution of policies, regulations, and standards and provides forestry and supply chain audits, regulatory verification services and solutions to businesses, manufacturers, suppliers, and retailers. Intertek assists local and international businesses in ensuring that their products meet global quality, safety, social, and environmental responsibility standards.
