IN DECEMBER 2024, THERE WERE TOTAL 22 RECALL CASES OF TEXTILE, FOOTWEAR AND ACCESSORIES PRODUCTS FROM THE US, CANADIAN, EU AND AUSTRALIAN MARKETS. 14 OF THEM CAME FROM CHINA.
There are 8 physical recall cases from the EU market, including 1 case on injuries, 2 cases on strangulation, 1 case on injuries or strangulation, 1 case on drowning, 1 case on burns, 1 case on chemical or choking, and 1 case on cuts.
There are 8 chemical recall cases from the EU market, all cases are against the REACH regulation.
There is 1 physical case from the US market, which is on burn hazard.
There is no chemical recall case from the US market.
There are 3 physical recall cases from the Canadian market, 2 of them are on mould hazard, the other one is on flammability.
There is no chemical recall case from the Canadian market.
There are 2 physical recall cases from the Australian market, including 1 case on serious injury and/or illness, and 1 case on severe injury and death from choking or suffocation.
There is no chemical recall case from the Australian market.
