In August 2024, there were total 34 recall cases of textile, footwear and accessories products from the US, Canadian, EU and Australian markets. 21 of them came from China.
There are 19 physical recall cases from the EU market, including 5 cases on injuries, 3 cases on strangulation, 2 cases on strangulation and injuries, 1 case on drowning, 1 case on drowning and strangulation, 7 cases on burns (including 1 case on sunburn).
There are 3 chemical recall cases from the EU market, all cases are against the REACH regulation.
There are 2 physical recall cases from the US market, including 1 case on flammability and another on suffocation risk, fall and entrapment hazards.
There is no chemical recall case from the US market.
There are 4 physical recall cases from the Canadian market, all the cases are on flammability.
There is no chemical recall case from the Canadian market.
There are 6 physical recall cases from the Australian market, including 3 cases on choking/suffocation, 1 case on choking, suffocation or death, and 2 cases on burn injuries.
There is no chemical recall case from the Australian market.
