The Recall Cases of Textile, Footwear and Accessories Products in February 2023
In February 2023, there were total 72 recall cases of textile, footwear and accessories products in foreign countries and 37 of them came from China.
There are 25 physical recall cases from the EU market. 3 cases are on health risks, 22 cases are on injure risks.
There are 35 chemical recall cases from the EU market. All cases are against the REACH regulation, including 3 cases are against Toy Safety Directive and EN 71-1 as well.
There are 9 physical recall cases from the US market. 8 cases fail to meet the mandatory federal flammability standard and 1 case is on choking risk.
There is 1 chemical recall case from the US market, which violates the Federal Lead Content Ban.
There is 1 physical recall case from the Canadian market. Products of this case either do not or may not comply with the Textile Flammability Regulations.
There is no chemical recall case from the Canadian market.
There is 1 physical recall case from the Australian market, which is on choking risk.
There is no chemical recall case from the Australian market.
