Intertek has renewed its contract, for a further period of 3 years, with the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) to support its Pre-Shipment Verification of Conformity (PVoC) Programme.

As per the requirements of the PVoC Programme, exporters of regulated product shipments to Uganda will need to obtain the Certificate of Conformity from Approved Service Providers, such as Intertek prior to shipment at the Country of Supply.

Exporters engaged in trade with Uganda need to be aware of the requirements of the PVoC and are encouraged to contact their local Intertek Offices to find out how Intertek can assist them in obtaining the mandatory CoC.

Intertek is also accredited for many other countries in Africa including Botswana, Cameroon, Egypt, Gabon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Morocco and Tanzania for providing conformity assessment services for regulated product shipments.
