The Minister of the Environment and The Minister of health approved Formaldehyde Emissions from Composite Wood Products Regulations, which was published in the Canada Gazette, Part II on July 07,2021, it will come into force from Jan 07,2023, for details, pls refer to our previous insight:

As a reminder, all Canadian companies involved in the manufacture, import or sale of composite wood products that contain formaldehyde must provide the information as below to the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Canada at formaldehyde@ec.gc.ca within 60 days after the coming into force date：

1. its name, civic and postal addresses, telephone number and, if any, email address as well as the name of its contact person; and 
2. a statement of whether it manufactures, imports, sells or offers for sale composite wood panels, laminated products, component.
