On Nov 29, 2022, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has published a direct final rule to update the Safety Standard for Infant Walkers (16 CFR 1216). The regulation shall enter into force on 25 February 2023. 

According to the new Standard, each infant walker must comply with all applicable provisions of ASTM F977-22e1, Standard Consumer Safety Specification for Infant Walkers.
