On December 17,2020, The Ministry of Economy, Finance and Recovery of France has published a notice on the latest list of reference standards for the enforcement of Decree No. 96-333 on safety of ladders and step stools. The notice shall supersede the one on the same subject dated 10 November 2019 with immediate effect.
The notice contains two lists of reference standards for demonstration of compliance with Decree No. 96-333. One is for the presumption of compliance with the safety requirements, the other one is for providing the necessary information for the intended use of products.

Products conforming to the reference standards listed on the notice dated 10 November 2019 can be placed on the market on or before 15 June 2021 and sold until stock depletion.
