On 11 April 2022, the European Commission has published Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/586 to amend Annex XIV to REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. It shall enter into force on 1 May 2022. Five new substances shall be newly added to Annex XIV, as following:

The placing on the market and the use of those substances in the EU will only be possible, from sunset date (i.e. the date from which the placing on the market and the use of the substance shall be prohibited unless an authorisation is granted), for those operators who have been granted an authorisation, and for those who have submitted an application for authorisation before the latest application date but a decision has not yet been adopted.
