Children’s Apparel & School Uniforms

In August, the Zhejiang AMR, Shandong AMR, Anhui AMR and Hainan AMR announced the results of the special product quality supervision and inspection for children’s apparel and school uniforms.

The spot checks were conducted according to GB 18401-2010 “National general safety technical code for textile products,” GB 31701-2015 “Safety Technical Code for Infant and Children’s Textile Products,” GB/T 22854-2009 “Knitted school uniform,” GB/T 31888-2015 “School uniforms of primary and secondary students,” GB/T 31900-2015 “Woven children’s clothing,” GB/T 33271-2016 “Woven garments for infants,” FZ/T 73025-2013 “Knitted garment and adornment for infant,” and FZ/T 73045-2013 “Knitted children’s wear.”

Primary failed items: Fiber content, formaldehyde content, cords and drawstrings, colorfastness

Apparel

In August, the Shanghai AMR, Anhui AMR and Hainan AMR announced the results of the special product quality supervision and inspection for apparel.

The spot checks were conducted according to GB 18401-2010 “National general safety technical code for textile products,” GB/T 2660-2017 “Shirts and blouses ,” GB/T 14272-2011 “Down garments,” GB/T 18132-2016 “Silk garments,” GB/T 22700-2016 “Washed garments,” GB/T 22849-2014 “Knitted T-shirt,” FZ/T 73017-2014 “Knitted homewear,” GB/T 73020-2012 “Knitted casual wear,” GB/T 73024-2014 “Knitted underwear with chemical fibers,” FZ/T 81001-2016 “Pajamas,” FZ/T 81007-2012 “Casual wear,” FZ/T 81010-2018 “Trench coats,” and FZ/T 81020-2014 “Woven brassiere.”

Footwear

In August, the Zhejiang AMR and Hainan AMR announced the results of special product quality supervision and inspection of footwear products.

This spot check was conducted according to GB 25036-2010 “Children’s canvas rubber footwear (shoes),” GB 30585-2014 “Safety technical specifications for children’s footwear,” GB/T 2880-2016 “Children’s leather shoes,” QB/T 4331-2012 “Children’s athletic shoes,” and QB/T 4546-2013 “Children’s leather sandals.”

Primary failed items: Label, abrasion resistance, flexing resistance, colorfastness to rubbing
