In July, the Guangdong AMR, Shandong AMR, Tianjin AMR, Henan AMR, Hainan AMR and Ningbo AMR announced the results of the special product quality supervision for textiles.

This spot check was conducted according to GB 18401-2010 “National general safety technical code for textile products,” GB 18383-2007 “General technical requirement for products with filling materials,” GB/T 22864-2009 “Towel,” GB/T 32610-2016 “Technical specification of daily protective mask,” and FZ/T 73037-2010 “Knitted sports socks.”

Primary failed items: Fiber content, use instruction (label), filtering efficiency, particle protective performance

Children’s Apparel

In July, the Shandong AMR announced the results of the special product quality supervision and inspection for children’s apparel.

The spot checks were conducted according to GB 18401-2010 “National general safety technical code for textile products,” GB 31701-2015 “Safety Technical Code for Infant and Children’s Textile Products,” GB/T 31900-2015 “Woven children’s clothing,” GB/T 33271-2016 “Woven garments for infants,” FZ/T 73025-2013 “Knitted garment and adornment for infant,” and FZ/T 73045-2013 “Knitted children’s wear.”

Primary failed items: Fiber content, cords and drawstrings, colorfastness

Apparel

In July, the Shandong AMR, Henan AMR, Hainan AMR and Chengdu AMR announced the results of the special product quality supervision and inspection for apparel.

The spot checks were conducted according to GB 18401-2010 “National general safety technical code for textile products,” GB/T 14272-2011 “Down garments,” GB/T 22849-2014 “Knitted T-shirt,” FZ/T 73009-2009 “Cashmere knitted goods,” FZ/T 73013-2017 “Knitted swimming suits,” FZ/T 73017-2014 “Knitted homewear,” FZ/T 73020-2012 “Knitted casual wear,” FZ/T 81001-2016 “Pajamas,” FZ/T 81007-2012 “Casual wear,” and FZ/T 81021-2014 “Woven swimming wear.”

Primary failed items: Fiber content, use instruction (label), pH value, formaldehyde content, AZO, colorfastness

Footwear

In July, the Hainan AMR, Chengdu AMR and Guiyang AMR announced the results of special product quality supervision and inspection of footwear products.

This spot check was conducted according to GB 20400-2006 “Leather and fur—Limit of harmful matter,” GB 25036-2010 “Children’s canvas rubber footwear (shoes),” GB/T 15107-2013 “Athletic shoes,” QB/T 1002-2015 “Leather shoes,” and QB/T 2955-2017 “Casual shoes.”

Primary failed items: Abrasion resistance, flexing resistance, colorfastness to rubbing

Bags

In July, the Hainan AMR and Guiyang AMR announced the results of special product quality supervision and inspection for bags.

This spot check was conducted according to GB 20400-2006 “Leather and fur—Limit of harmful matter,” GB 21550-2008 “Restriction of hazardous materials in polyvinyl chloride artificial leather,” GB 21027-2007 “Request in common use of security for student’s articles,” QB/T 1333-2018 “Handbag and knapsack,” and QB/T 2155-2018 “Travelling case and trolley bag.”

Primary failed items: Travelling performance, shock impact strength
