Children’s products manufactured after Feb. 8, 2013, will need to meet additional recordkeeping under the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act’s (CPSIA) Testing and Certification Rule.

These new requirements include:

• Tracking recertification if a product undergoes a material change
• Developing training and policies to prevent undue influence over third-party labs
