Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision recently launched a special product quality supervision and inspection for 40 batches of cashmere knitwear, and covered the main manufacturers of Shanghai. Out of these inspected products, 28 batches were produced by Shanghai city. The inspection found a total of 7 batches of unqualified products, 4 of which were produced by Shanghai manufacturers.

This spot check was conducted according to the national mandatory standards GB 18401-2003/2010 "National General Safety Technical Code for Textile Products", FZ/T 73009-2009 "Cashmere Knitting Goods". The key items inspected on these products are formaldehyde content, pH value, azo dye, color fastness to water, color fastness to perspiration, color fastness to dry rubbing, color fastness to washing, bursting strength, relaxed dimension change, fiber content, determination of dichloromethane-soluble matter.

The main unqualified item was determination of dichloromethane-soluble matter (7 batches), color fastness to perspiration (1 batch).
